Music recommendations?

Sun Feb 3, 2013, 11:24 AM
English

My playlist is getting boring, so I'd like to get some new music.

I'm open to any style, but there are some things I like/dislike:

YES

:bulletgreen: Orchestral and epic
:bulletgreen: Guitars
:bulletgreen: Long songs
:bulletgreen: Electronica (house)
:bulletgreen: Meaningful lyrics

NO

:bulletred: Most rap/hip-hop stuff
:bulletred: Screamo/death metal
:bulletred: Flamenco/Spanish music (yup I'm not patriotic when it comes to Spanish culture)

Thank you!

Español

Mi música se me hace aburrida, así que me gustaría escuchar algo nuevo.

Estoy abierta a cualquier estilo, pero aquí hay algunas cosas que me gustan o no:

:bulletgreen: Orquestal y épica
:bulletgreen: Guitarras
:bulletgreen: Canciones largas
:bulletgreen: Electrónica (house)
:bulletgreen: Letras con significado

NO

:bulletred: Cosas estilo rap y hip-hop
:bulletred: Screamo/death metal
:bulletred: Flamenco/música hispana (no soy exactamente patriota con nuestra cultura)

¡Gracias!

Hola!!

Bonnie Tyler, especialmente 'Total Eclipse of the Heart', 'Holding out for a Hero' y 'Faster than the Speed of Night' XD

"garden of everything" by steve conte and maaya sakamoto (it's one of my personal favorites)
"inner universe" by yoko kanno
"death of a colossus" by markyspark
"Chowa Oto" by kokia
"Tabi no Tochuu" by kiyoura natsumi
"colors" by flow
anything on the album 'drink the sea' by the glitch mob. again, that's an album; since I can't really decide which song is best from XD
"bother" by corey taylor
"desert rose" by sting
Any classical tracks by Dan Johansen (you can find him on newgrounds)
if you like soundtracks, I'd recommend the Okami soundtrack, Eternal Sonata sountrack, and the Professor Layton soundtracks.
"headlock" by Imogen heap
ANY song made by Joanie Madden
"on top of the world" by jem
and bla bla bla bla bla

I have more.... but I think that's a long enough list XD

Oh gosh, I rember FLOW's Re:member from a Naruto opening :XD: I used to listen to a lot of Japanese music back then.
I love Professor Layton's sountrack, and The Glitch Mob's Animus Vox is great! I'll check the rest of the album and listen to the other songs. Thanks a lot for all the recommendations :glomp:
